The mind behind Castle Montsteir, the king lives solitary in his magnum opus with stray guards, maintenance, and his beloved automaton wife. He wishes to create a kingdom of automatons, which doesn't seem too villainous, but he does require human souls to animate them. So, he isn't a great guy.
