Hades Keepsake Fan Designs
Though this was a UI-focused study/piece, I still enjoyed designing the props themselves. I first studied the keepsakes designs, trying to understand how shadows and colors are used in-game. Then, I decided to design two props as if the game featured Cerberus as a cat. Because cats are awesome!
I went with the catnip because I thought the green and red would be a fun color combination, with the fun homage to the original collar design.
I also decided to go with the fish toy, because it read very clearly as "THIS IS A CAT'S," really bringing out the story, I also knew I could get fun with the details of the fish, like the stuffing coming out. I'd imagine a creature with three mouths would really destroy a toy quickly.
